SNCF Data Challenge : une première à l'ENSAI

A l’occasion des 20 ans de l’Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information (ENSAI), SNCF et le Département Communication & Relations Extérieures (DCRE) de l’école ont organisé un challenge data proposé à des équipes volontaires d’étudiants de toutes les promotions. Cet article revient sur cet événement organisé le 29 septembre 2016 : les motivations, la préparation et les objectifs, le déroulé de la journée, le bilan extrêmement positif ainsi que les perspectives.

The SNCF Data Challenge of the 20th birthday of ENSAI
For the 20th birthday of the National School for Statistics and Information in France (ENSAI), the French National Railway Corporation and the Communication Department of the school have been organized a data challenge. Some volunteer students applying different years in the school putting together teams to take up the challenge. This article describes this event: motivations, preparation and objectives of the both parts, the day’s proceedings, the positive result and the future outlooks.
